Green Fins training is available for the high season of the Andaman Sea

Marine tourism is the main investment business in Phuket, Krabi, and Phang-Nga due to the unique land and seascape of the tropical climate. Snorkelling and diving are famous activities which increasing the number of tourists every year. The snorkelling and diving tour operators prepare both logistic as well as and staffs/ tour guide for good service in upcoming high season. 

Green Fins project supported the snorkelling and diving operators network to train their staffs and tour guide about marine ecosystem, Reef Watch monitoring workshop, environmentally friendly snorkelling/ diving practice, and do it by yourself about multi-purpose cleaning product workshop to reduce a chemical use on board. The aim of training consists of minimise impact of tourism on coral and associated ecosystem.

On 4th October 2014, Green Fins provide a short training to tour guides and employees of Green View Tour in Kuraburi, Phang-Nga. Green View Tour is one of Green Fins member who is active in environmental awareness and has got Green Fins certificate of participation which means they participated Green Fins Assessment in 2014. In 2014 there are 155 Green Fins company members from diving and snorkelling companies, hotels and resorts; and over 200 individual members.

The upcoming Green Fins training will be the end of October in Khao Lak, Phang-Nga. You are welcome to join Green Fins for free of charge. Please let us know at thailand@greenfins.net and reefwatchthailand@gmail.com

For whom who cannot join the training, they can participate via Google Hangout On Air at the same time of training which will notice in advanced via Green Fins website. This way is reduceing your carbon foot print.
